Ken Lewis will reportedly receive a retirement package in excess of $100 million dollars. Finally, a labor union has had the guts to call for the US ' Pay Czar' to intervene, claiming that Bank of America, which received tens of $Billions of dollars in bailout money, has not made it easier for consumers to borrow, avoid foreclosure or receive any direct benefit from the bailout money. Why should the architect of B of A's massive losses then receive a massive payout? Finally, the public is asking for some justice in the financial meltdown and bailout. It is about time!

i never will forget how Dennis Kucinich grilled Lewis over the nefarious activities of Bank of America in a committee hearing not long ago. The only question i have is how come somebody hasn't put a bullet in Lewis......as well as some of the other crooks?

considering that he is bailing out (no pun intended) before the job is done (he promised not to step aside until BOA has fully recovered), he should not be entitled to receive any compensation. I don't recall getting a good grade on my incomplete assignments in school.

then again, folks were screaming for his resignation.
